 Our bees are all regularly checked for American Foulbrood and Varroa, and we only send out the healthiest bees and mated Queens.
Our head beekeeper Raymond Key is currently on the Apiculture New Zealand Board of Trustees, and has hundreds of healthy hives around the South Island. He’s always available for a friendly chat, and we can even offer private beekeeping advice and lessons at an hourly rate from one of our established local beekeepers.

We suggest all potential hobbyist beekeepers undertake a formal apiculture course (More information here) or have previous beekeeping experience. We reserve the right of refusal if we believe selling a hive may incur a risk to the local ecosystem.
