Southern Alps Honey Dew
Location: Southern Alps of New Zealand
Flavour: Golden syrup, maple, caramel,
butterscotch.
Summary: High in antioxidants, stays
naturally liquid, natural prebiotic for gut
health, good replacement for sugar and
great on feta based salads or with cheese.
Honeydew is the newest and most talked-about honey variety in New
Zealand. Unlike traditional honey, it's made when bees gather sweet
secretions from native scale insects on beech trees. This unique process
creates a deep, silky honey with lower glucose and higher antioxidant levels
than even Manuka, as well as fascinating links to improved gut health. Our
honeydew doesn’t crystallize, making it perfect for drizzling and stirring.
Found within the vast native Beechwood forest throughout the South Island’s
Southern Alps.
Queenstown Manuka Honey
Location: Queenstown, the road to
Glenorchy and Mahu Whenua land
between the mountains of Arrowtown and
Glendhu Bay, Wanka.
Flavour: Deep caramel, bold herbal
strength, warm and lasting.
Summary: A strong, full-bodied Manuka
honey with rich regional character. Perfect
for wellness routines or bold flavour lovers.
Up in the mountains surrounding Queenstown’s lakes and trails, native
Manuka blooms under changing alpine conditions and iconic landscapes.
Our bees work these ridgelines, creating a honey that’s bold and grounding.
With its dark caramel tones and powerful herbal complexity, this Manuka is a
daily ritual for those who appreciate strength in taste, in health, and origin.
More than a sweetener, it’s a story of your connection with this region and of
our alpine environment.
For you to enjoy or as a gift and a memory of that special time you spent in
Queenstown, Wakatipu.
Queenstown Lakes Multi-
Floral
Location: Queenstown, Lake Hayes,
Gibbston, Arrowtown
Flavour: Soft and mild, peach, fudge, light
floral.
Summary: Great for hay-fever with local
pollen including Kamahi, Matagouri, Clover,
Manuka and Erica. Very local honey, with
hives visible in public areas.
In the clear air and wide valleys of the Queenstown Lakes District, bees
forage across alpine meadows, clover pastures, and wild roadside blooms.
This multi-floral honey is the result—a golden, delicate blend that reflects the
region’s purity and light. With soft floral sweetness and subtle herbal notes,
it’s as versatile as it is beautiful. Whether drizzled, spread, or stirred, every
spoonful offers a bright taste of Central Otago’s natural abundance.
