Where it's from. High country around the Wakatipu Basin, from hives on the road to Glenorchy and on Mahu Whenua. From Ray's hives and Peter Ward's, fully traceable to the hive sites.
What it tastes like. Bold but smooth. Herbal warmth, a little bitterness and rich caramel.
How to enjoy it. Straight from the spoon, on toast, or in warm tea. The 80g jar fits in hand luggage, and it makes a good gift from Queenstown.
